Fremach International is looking for an experienced candidate with demonstrated history of working in a manufacturing industry, skilled in global sourcing and procurement, supplier management and project management.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Management of the Group’s external suppliers with focus on the purchase of materials (direct) for all the Fremach plants (resins, components, paint, etc.) 
  • Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production.
  • Responsible for savings and cost avoidance in all the plants
  • Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers  
  • Identify new suppliers, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structures and volume rebates
  • Continually improve purchasing methods and optimize the external spend
  • Consolidate data from the plants
  • Monitoring of the reporting figures of the plants
  • Ensure proper management of purchasing documents, databases and publications
  • Developing prefer supplier bidder list for direct material
  • Representing Supply Chain in Project Management and handover to the plants
  • Assuring Rules for Sourcing Board and organizing it
  • Leading the negotiations with the suppliers
  • Closing contracts with the suppliers
  • Work in close contact with SDE

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree in engineering or economics
  • Min. 3-5 years of work professional experience with successful track record with procurement assignments, preffered global level
  • Excellent knowledge of the supplier market (global) combined with ability to find/negotiate the best conditions
  • Understanding of suppliers processes (able to get, interpret and validate information)
  • Understanding of customers demands (requirements, standards, their priorities, etc.)
  • Strong competencies in relationship management, contract management and negotiation
  • Very good organizational skills (prioritizing, time management, proactive approach)
  • Financial skills (ability to read and understand budget, financial reports, spot opportunity for savings)
  • Analytical skills (problem solving methods, analyse capacities)
  • Project Management skills 
  • Good command of MS Office and working knowledge of ERP systems
  • Fluent English (company language)
  • German language is a +
  • Accountable and results oriented mindset
  • Sense of urgency, be a go-getter
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, teamplayer

 

Successfull candidate can work from one of our European manufacturing sites or a headquarter :

Czech republic/Kromeriz or Belgium/HQ in Diepenbeek or Izegem
