The Role

Fremach International is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to manage mid-large projects from conception to completition, assembling team members, assigning tasks & determining timelines for the project’s different stages in the automotive environment. Our preffered locations for the placement are Izegem in Belgium or Trnava in Slovakia, in case of applicant and successful candidate from other country we have the option to place him/her to our locations in Diepenbeek (BE) or Kromeriz (CZ).


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets and project timing
  • Strongly support technical and commercial communication, lead project management related communication both with customers and Fremach project teams
  • Coordinate and follow-up of various specialties that are part of the project
  • Be a link between production and customers and support customers through the total project phase of new projects, engineering changes, launch and quality issues
  • Improve the organization and way of working of local project teams (quality engineers, test engineers, process engineers, tool experts, injection molding engineers)
  • Build strong relationships with customers and create longterm partnerships


Requirements for the job holder:

Education or equivalent experience

  • University degree Bachelor or Master : Economical or engineering studies

  • Experience: min. 3 years in project management preferably in automotive industry


Technical skills (incl. PC, software and machine and device knowledge):

  • Ability to manage quotes for projects, ability to understand and use financial means behind numbers

  • Knowledge of production means - good knowledge of molds, raw materials, injection molding processes is a plus

  • Applied knowledge of decoration and measurement techniques is a plus, ability to read digital technical drawings

  • Applied knowledge in automotive problem solving tools, IATF quality systems APQP, VDA and others

  • Risk management and decision making skills

  • MS Office Software, project management software, working knowledge of an ERP system


Personal and interpersonal skills & competences:

  • Strong customer facing skills, very good presentation skills, able to negotiate and defend company’s interest

  • Excellent communicator, able to influence and lead

  • Very good organizational skills, advanced project management skills

  • Ability to motivate, lead and facilitate cross-functional teams

  • Willing to travel (approx. 30% of the time)



  • English excellent knowledge verbal and written form
  • German is a plus
  • French is a plus
